Ironside started in a 600-square-foot space above a record store on Wilshire. One chair, one barber, no front desk.
A decade later, we've grown to four chairs and a small, tight crew — but the rules haven't changed. No rushed cuts. No tier menus designed to push you up. No "good enough." Just a steady hand, sharp steel, and the time it actually takes to do the work.
We think a haircut is a small, weekly piece of dignity. We treat it that way.
Four commitments we put on the wall in 2014 and never took down.
Every chair is booked on a 45-minute minimum. We never double-book or stack walk-ins past capacity.
Posted prices are final. No tier games, no surprise add-ons at the chair.
Blades are honed weekly, hot towels are single-use, and every cape comes off the press.
Talk if you want to. Sit in silence if you don't. Both are fully respected.
